Cameron's Birthday is April 14th. I asked for donations on Facebook and everyone graciously donated toward a nintendo DS lite for him. I was amazed, (as I always hear when people as for donations) at the out pouring of giving. Some people that barely knew him, some that didn't know him, and some gave more than was even expected. Many gave more than expected.
When he finally got his DS (after a few messy weekends and him knocking his tooth out) we drove up to get him!
He said, "my own DS!"
Yep, He played it all week-end.
He is supposed to wear glasses because he is nearly legally blind in one eye.
I asked him, "Where are you glasses Cameron?"
His reply, "I did not lay on them."
So, he didn't brake them! When he looks at his DS he uses his good eye and holds it up really close. I thought, maybe I should have bought him glasses instead? Nah, he can lay on his DS.
In the meantime, I will be figuring out what to do about glasses.
And the picture of him blowing the candle out on the cupcake was a last minute standin for a birthday cake. He did not have a birthday cake so we had to sing Happy Birthday and have him make a wish!
