911 Call!

No, this is not another incident like the past where Isaac had dialed 911 and me being forced to open the door in my underwear by the cops. This one was a bit more scary. Our baby Nevaeh stopped breathing twice due to her sickness. I had just given her her breathing treatment(nebulizer treatment every 4 hours)when her eyes rolled back. I thought she was falling asleep but something just didn't seem right. I blew into her face but no response. I put her on my shoulder and started to tap her back when she finally grasped for air. I got her to cry but again, her eyes rolled back and veins on the side of her head started to show. I was able to call 911 and within minutes the ambulance came along with 5 police cars. We are very fortunate to have good friends that can come over with a simple phone call and take over our house and children. I can honestly say that mothers have the hardest job. I don't know how I managed to stay calm but in the end, it was very nerve wrecking. Jess is very calm and understanding with our children and I give her tons of credit for what she deals with on a daily basis. I was able to go with baby Nevaeh to the hospital. What I don't get is how bad drivers can be when there is an ambulance behind them. We were at the intersection waiting for the lights to turn green when a car decides to run a red light. Yes, right in front of us as we start to go. Jess had gone out to have some daughter time with jaida so of course this happens when I am left alone with kids. She was able to meet me at the hospital and that alone was very comforting. We stayed there for hours and very fortunate enough to bring Nevaeh home that same night. Turns out that she had Bronchialitis. She is doing very good so far and still giving us a big smile with big dimples on her cheeks and saying "momma" whenever Jess leaves or hands her over to me. Still giving her nebulizer treatments every 4 hours and has gotten a good handle on holding the mask all by herself. Isaac did a good job keeping Kaylin calm and making sure that Landon and Cameron were out of paramedics way by taking them upstairs. So this is how we started out the new year. We hope all is well with everyone.

We are glad it all turned out fine. You are both great parents and we can't wait to meet the rest of your family this summer.
