March Madness at the Hospital..

Erman was at the ER this week with an abcess. Turns out it was MRSA. The bad antibiotic resistant bacteria that is very "contagiosum".

Some of you know the whole story of our bacteria, fungus and virus infected house. I am really sick of the whole germ thing. And some of you may be completely grossed out, but it has been as if I forgot to mark my door with the X when the plague came down my street.

First, it was the ringworm. Turns out our foster child had ringworm, not eczema! Yes, it was bad when all the kids got a touch of it on their chin from holding him.
Next, we all had the wonderful flu bug...you do not need the details of this.
Lastly, the bacteria hit. Erman picked up the bacteria somewhere and we would post a picture...but I do have some limits.

Needless to say, starting with the ringworm (1 month ago) I have been bleaching and doing laundry like a mad hornet. I have learned that Lavender helps with bacteria and fungus. The kids have all learned how to use the Lavender salt scrub that Trader Joes conveintly carries. Landon hates the salt and thinks I am torturing him. I had to convince Isaac to use it. Presently, Isaac says that his skin is sooo soft after his shower. Maybe.... if Erman had used the Lavender scrub with everyone else, instead of being worried if he would smell like a girl, he would not have an abcess on his left cheek! I hope no one was planning to visit this month. Ha ha..

Mom, it was not the cheek on my face. It's the other "cheek".;)
I thought I had a spider bite since I had just stacked some fire wood but not so said the doctor. I must have scratched it and the vicious bacteria was awaiting for an open wound. So, I have been re-asigned to a stronger anti-biotic
(levaquin 750mg) which makes me sick and tired.
