If you give a mouse a cookie....

Sorry the picture is upside down. I had it developed at Target and I do not want to deal with it right now. This is our new year. 2008. So far so good. I always set a new savings goal for the new year and say I am not going to spend needlessly. I also thought if anyone has read the book "If you give a mouse a cookie" you would understand that not only mice and children have this problem and wanting more, but adults too. Have you noticed if you give a man recliner, he's going to want a new TV (flat screen), and if you give him a TV, he's going to want a surround sound stereo, and if you give him the stereo, he going to want you to make him some popcorn. And if you give him popcorn he going to want a soda and an action packed movie (or order a fight) to watch on his new tv with surround sound.
Same thing for women. If you buy her a shirt, she'll want pants to match and then shoes, and jacket, and ....well next it will be a new car to match her.Because an old minivan just does not go with the leather jacket and calvin klein knee hight boots. And if you update her kitchen she will want the new table to go with it. This goes on and on and on. You get the idea. And I hope that we all know when to stop. I know I am always working on that part of it.

This has been on my mind a lot lately. Stuff is just not what is important and there are so many better things to spend or save our money on/for. I could go on and on but I won't. Great post!
Love the pictures!!
